Mobile Nail Cutting
Keeping your dog's nails trimmed regularly is crucial for their health and comfort, as overgrown nails can cause pain, walking difficulties, and potential injuries; it's important to trim them often, ensuring you avoid cutting too close to the "quick" (the sensitive blood vessel inside the nail) by carefully isolating each nail and clipping small bits at a time; to make the process easier, get your dog accustomed to paw handling from a young age and use positive reinforcement with treats during nail trims.
When it comes to cutting my bulldog’s nails I’m scared! I can do puppies no problem because their nails are small and easy to figure out but adult nails are thick and don’t show the quick especially the black nails. I’m so afraid I’ll cut their quick that I used to take them into the vets office to get it done. They hated that because going to the vet is not usually a fun experience for them. You can also get the nails trimmed when they get groomed from the mobile groomer but I’ve been showering my bulldog myself so I had this dilemma. What do I do about Ruby’s nails?
I found Sabrina Johnson and felt a complete sigh of relief!! She is awesome with nail trimming and she comes to my house!!! Ruby is comfortable in her bed and I sit and pet her while Sabrina trims her little nails. She needs it done about every three weeks and it’s only $12 which I gladly pay. I’m telling you it’s such a load off my mind to have a professional do this in the comfort of my home so Ruby isn’t stressed going to the vet for her trim. Sabrina is in the Colorado Springs area and her contact phone number is 719.373.8505. You will love her, my dog does!!! Ruby doesn’t let anyone touch her feet, she’s always been picky about that but she will let Sabrina do it. Animals know who loves them!! Give her a try if you’re a squeamish about nail cutting like I am!
